Greenbusch furnished the design for heating, ventilation, and plumbing systems for a 18,500 square foot urban community center, the first of a new series of community centers constructed by the Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation. The Garfield Community Center is an architectural award-winning building. The design included systems for the center's Gym and Kitchen areas. The building features fan-coil heating and ventilation units conditioning 12 major temperature control zones. Heat is provided by a pair of gas fired boilers that heat water circulated to the fan coil units. The project was completed in late 1994 for $2.5M.
