- Located directly in the flight path, our analysis included evaluating site noise and designing the structure to reduce interior noise to levels conducive to a good learning environment.
- Recommendations included construction elements for the wall and roof systems and for glazing throughout the various spaces.
- Close coordination was required to ensure relief and intake openings did not provide pathways for aircraft noise infiltration.
- Mechanical noise and vibration control were coordinated with the Mechanical Engineer.
- In addition, we provided recommendations for shaping and finishes in the Great Hall performing area, music rooms and commons.
